A diet based on whole organic foods, just as nature delivered, I consider to be the underpinning of a healthy body and a clear coherent mind. Thus, changing what and how we eat is a major step towards coming back in to resonance with ourselves and our beautiful planet with which we are one.

When we eat in harmony with the environment, aligning with the seasons and the rhythms of nature, not only are we supporting our gut health which influences all biological processes such as energy levels, hormone function, skin health and mood but we are strengthening our immune systems (our life force) as the gut is where most of our immune system is housed which has direct communication with the brain.

Like all forms of Yoga, eating with awareness precipitates an alchemical process which expands consciousness and opens us to experience more of who we really are. Food tells a life story. It speaks of the earth, the sun, the stars and the creator. It contains all the imprints left by all those who have worked the land and bought the food to our table. Therefore by choosing our food wisely and eating consciously not only can we address some of the many health issues that have evolved through modern day living but we can also rediscover all the marvels of creation.
